In this tape Collins continues his emcee conquest, whilst still maintaining his 90's influence. Wayne Collins - Blue Bastard (2013)

Blue Bastard originally titled "The Layover" is the the third mixtape from Wayne Collins. The tape carries a different type of feel than the previous works, infused with an array of lo-fi, jazz, synths, and chill-out samples over boom bap drums, and break-beats accompanied with soundbites from sitcoms, and martial arts dialogue to create the concept of Blue Bastard. The tape enlists unused beats from Things Get Better and the unreleased project Tainted Elegance; with a handful of fresh jazzy bumps.
